Read the section

High-end custom is decided in the section drawing, not the brochure. These four layers are held to specification on every SK-60 unit we ship.

01

6063-T5 multi-chamber frame

Extruded alloy with internal chambers for stiffness without weight.

02

PA66 thermal-break bar

Glued and bonded polyamide isolation, continuous across the build.

03

EPDM double gasket

Two replaceable compression lines for air and water tightness.

04

Hardware & fixing

Concealed fixing with continuous drainage.

Technical detail

The section, the hardware and the fixings — photographed, not rendered. This is the level of detail your drawing office specifies against and your site crew installs to, on every unit that leaves the line.

Hardware

Pre-fitted and function-checked on every sash before it leaves the line. Multi-point locking, key-operated handles and marine-grade sets are scheduled per project and listed in the hardware schedule that ships with the shop drawings.

Installation

Factory-assembled and pre-glazed, so the tolerance work is done under a roof. On site the build is a three-zone detail — air, insulation, weatherproofing — and every crate arrives with the install guide and the sealant schedule for that market.

Overview

Skylights are roof-integrated glazing units that bring daylight from the source into stairwells, halls and kitchens. SK-60 is a thermal-break frame with roof-grade gasket and full-perimeter flashing, fixed or with a motorized tilt vent on a rain sensor, sized for roofs from 5° to 55° pitch, up to 1,600 × 1,200 mm per leaf.

Flat and pitched skylight units with thermal-break frames and roof-grade gaskets, fixed or with a motorized tilt vent — the stairwell, hallway and kitchen-light specification. Units run to 1,600 × 1,200 mm per leaf, on roofs from 5° to 55° pitch.

The flashing is detailed to the roof membrane the site already has, and the gasket is roof-grade EPDM. A visual check twice a year is the full service schedule on a fixed unit; the motorized version adds a rain sensor with auto-close and battery hold-up.

Glazing

Glazing

Tempered IGU, solar-control or low-E; units up to 1,600 × 1,200 mm per leaf, sized for roofs from 5° to 55° pitch.

Band case

Band case

The SK-60 BAND linear daylight unit runs the whole circulation — halls and corridors lit from the source.

What it's worth to you

Panoramic fixed glazing installed across a modern house elevation

Daylight lands where a room has no wall to give one — stairwells, halls, the kitchen worktop.

The rain sensor closes the vent and the battery holds it shut: the roof position nobody is watching.

Pairs with the SR-200 roof for the vertical-plus-horizontal daylight case, under one 15-year frame warranty.

Where it is specified

The sites we build this system for, and what the schedule changes in each one.

Stairwells

Daylight lands where a room has no wall to give one.

Halls and corridors

The long SK-60 BAND unit lights the whole circulation.

Kitchens

Morning light over the worktop, vent on the rain sensor.

Flat-roof extensions

Full-perimeter flashing for the membrane the site already has.

Garden rooms

Pairs with the SR-200 roof for the vertical plus horizontal daylight case.
