Privacy and data protection
This page sets out what happens to the information you send us when you ask for a quotation, download a document or simply read the site. It is written to be read, not to be survived.

Who is responsible for your data
This site is operated under the trading name Adam Windows, from Foshan, Guangdong, China. For anything on this page, the contact is adamed01580@gmail.com or +86 177 0868 3991. We are the controller of the personal data described below, which means we decide why it is held and what happens to it.
We sell to trade buyers: distributors, contractors, architects and developers. We do not sell personal data, and we do not buy contact lists.
What we collect, and how long we keep it
The table below is the whole of it. If a category is not on this list, we are not collecting it.

Two of those periods are set by law rather than by us. Invoices and contract records have to survive for the period accounting rules require, even if you ask us to delete everything else. Server logs roll off on their own.
The quote form, and where it goes
The form on the contact page is delivered through formsubmit.co, a form relay service, to a mailbox we control. The relay necessarily handles the content of your message in order to deliver it, and it holds it briefly in transit.
Please do not send identity documents, payment card details or bank credentials through the form. If we need company registration documents for a purchase order, we will ask for them by email and say why.
Files you attach are treated as part of the enquiry. They are used to quote the project and, if you order, to produce the shop drawings.
WhatsApp and other messaging
The WhatsApp buttons on this site open a chat in WhatsApp, which is operated by Meta. Once you are there, Meta handles the message under its own terms and privacy policy, and we receive your phone number and whatever you send. The same applies to any messaging app you reach us through.
We keep the content of a WhatsApp enquiry in the same way as a form enquiry, on the same 24 month clock.
Analytics and cookies
This site runs Google Analytics 4, property G-R65PLED6YE, loaded directly from Google. It records which pages are viewed, the referring source, browser and device type, an approximate location derived from the network, and interaction events such as a quotation form being submitted. It does not record what you type into the form.
Google Analytics sets cookies in the _ga family to recognise a returning browser. We do not run advertising, remarketing or social pixels of any kind on this site, so there is no profile of you being built for ad targeting by us.
If you would rather not be counted, three options work: block third-party cookies in your browser, use a content blocker, or install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. None of them affect the site, and you can still request a quotation by email or WhatsApp.
Who else touches it
A small number of suppliers process data on our behalf, and only for the purpose named: Google for analytics, formsubmit.co for form delivery, and our hosting and content delivery provider for serving the site and keeping the logs.
Where an order goes ahead, we share the project detail that is necessary with the parties who have to act on it, which can include a freight forwarder, a testing laboratory, or a coating supplier. We share the minimum needed and not the whole file.
We disclose data to a public authority only where the law requires it, and we will tell you unless we are prohibited from doing so.
Where your data goes
We are based in China, so an enquiry from Europe or the United Kingdom involves a transfer of personal data outside those regions. Our processors publish standard contractual clauses for these transfers, and we rely on those clauses for analytics and form delivery.
If you need the transfer mechanism in writing before you send a drawing, ask and we will send it.
Your rights
Where the General Data Protection Regulation or the UK GDPR applies, you have the right to ask for a copy of your data, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, to restrict or object to how it is used, and to receive it in a portable format. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time.
To use any of them, email the address at the top with the words data request in the subject line, and say which right you are exercising. We answer within 30 days. We may ask one question to confirm that the request is yours, and nothing more.
If you are not satisfied with the answer, you can complain to the data protection authority in your country. We would rather you came to us first, but it is your right either way.
How we protect it
The site is served over HTTPS. Mailbox access is limited to the people who answer enquiries, and the access is password protected and tied to a second factor. Quotation files sit on the same systems as the mailbox and are not published anywhere.
No system is perfect. If a breach ever affects your data in a way that creates a risk to you, we will tell you and the relevant authority within the time the law allows.
Children
This is a trade site for buyers of building products. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us data, tell us and we will delete it.
Changes to this page
The date in the header is the date this version took effect. When we change how the site handles data, we update this page and change the date. If the change is material, we say what changed at the bottom rather than quietly rewriting the text.
