ED-90 frame section, thermal-break build. Photographed section, hardware and installation detail below.

Read the section

High-end custom is decided in the section drawing, not the brochure. These four layers are held to specification on every ED-90 unit we ship.

01

6063-T5 multi-chamber frame

Extruded alloy with internal chambers for stiffness without weight.

02

PA66 thermal-break bar

Glued and bonded polyamide isolation, continuous across the build.

03

EPDM double gasket

Two replaceable compression lines for air and water tightness.

04

Hardware & fixing

Concealed fixing with continuous drainage.

Technical detail

The section, the hardware and the fixings — photographed, not rendered. This is the level of detail your drawing office specifies against and your site crew installs to, on every unit that leaves the line.

Installation

Factory-assembled and pre-glazed, so the tolerance work is done under a roof. On site the build is a three-zone detail — air, insulation, weatherproofing — and every crate arrives with the install guide and the sealant schedule for that market.

Overview

An entry door is the primary access leaf of a building — an inward-opening, multi-point-locked aluminium door with a laminated core and a key from both sides. ED-90 builds it on a 105 mm thermal-break leaf with a 31 mm visible face, flat, fluted or woodgrain panels, and a fluted or clear sidelight to a triple 5+18A+5+15A+5 unit, for residential and boutique-hotel entries.

An inward entry door on a 105 mm thermal-break leaf with a 31 mm visible face, a laminated core and a multi-point lock keyed on both sides. Flat, fluted or woodgrain panels over the core, a fluted or clear sidelight beside the leaf, and a long-pull handle in anodised RAL.

The lock schedule is the entry specification: multi-point engagement across the meeting edge, a key from either face, and the laminated core behind the panel line. The sidelight or vision panel takes glazing up to a triple 5+18A+5+15A+5 unit, and the leaf arrives factory-assembled with the lock set fitted and function-checked before crating.

Leaf build

Leaf build

A 105 mm thermal-break leaf on a 1.8 mm wall with a 31 mm visible face — the panel line hides the depth, and the depth does the sealing.

Lock schedule

Lock schedule

Multi-point engagement across the meeting edge with a key on both faces; the laminated core sits behind the panel line, and the turn of the key is the security position.

Finish & handle

Finish & handle

Flat, fluted or woodgrain panels over the laminated core, the long-pull handle in anodised RAL, and a fluted or clear sidelight that takes the triple unit.

What it's worth to you

Panoramic fixed glazing installed across a modern house elevation

The key works on both faces — the street-facing side and the approach side quote as one leaf, not two doors.

Factory-assembled with the lock set fitted and function-checked before crating: the site hangs, fixes and levels.

A 15-year warranty on the frame and the hardware, counted from the loading report that ships in the crate.

Boutique hotel arrivals

A solid or vision leaf that quotes as one line per unit.

Townhouse frontages

Buying & delivery

The commercial terms behind the ED-90 — the same schedule on every quote, so the number you are shown is the number you can hold us to.

Request a quote for this system
Minimum order
No square-metre minimum for villa and boutique projects — a single wall of this system can be its own order. For multi-unit developments the MOQ scales with the range ordered, and both are quoted together.
Quotation
Unit-by-unit commercial quotation within 24 hours of a complete inquiry — dimensions, glass specification, finish and destination port.
Lead time
30–40 days from approved shop drawings. Assembly, glazing and quality control sit inside the quoted lead time, not on top of it.
Shop drawings
Free, within 3 working days of approved architectural drawings — hardware schedules, glass schedules and fixing details included.
Packing & shipping
Factory-assembled and pre-glazed in a corner-protected wood crate with desiccant; a per-bay loading report and a per-crate packing list run with the shipment. FOB standard, CIF or DDP to the job site, 40HQ consolidation across ranges.
Payment
50% deposit against order confirmation, 50% against the pre-shipment inspection report, by T/T. Other instruments for established partners and large frameworks.
Warranty
15-year frame, 5-year hardware and gasket; the glass manufacturer warranty passes through. Project-specific extensions are written into the contract.
Project documents
Where the project carries a test — impact, cyclone or acoustic — the report and certificate are referenced to the configured models on the order and ship with the first container.
