Markets

One factory, four programmes. What changes between them is not the frame range — the platforms are shared — but the document the building official accepts, the glazing build that document demands, and the port the container sails into.

Market 01

United States

Impact-rated glazing for hurricane zones, code-driven documentation, and the listing path your insurer and your AHJ will actually ask for. We build for the coast and for the inland job that just wants it done right.

Configured US projects are tested to AAMA 2604, with ASTM E330 impact-glass results and NFRC values (U-factor, SHGC, VT) issued per project and per model. The test report references the exact configuration on the order — not a standing listing. The IR-80 impact system is the line card for Florida-class elevations.

NFRCU-factor / SHGC / VT valuesPer model, for US spec sheets

Market 02

Australia & New Zealand

Cyclone-rated to AS 1170.2, acoustic builds for the loud road-frontage, and the timber-inside look the market already wants. Salt-fog hardware is standard, not an option, for coastal sites.

Configured AU projects are tested to AS 2047, with AS 1288 balustrade glazing and AS 1170.2 wind-zone results issued per project and per model. Cyclonic regions run the structural suite on the configured geometry; the report that ships with the first container is the one for that building.

Market 03

South-East Asia

Tropical ventilation first: integrated screens, glass-roof sunrooms, louvered pergolas, and systems that live with humidity, salt air and monsoon rain. One shop-drawing package can cover a whole development.

Singapore projects are configured to SGCC testing where the developer requires it, with the report issued per order and per model. The tropical ventilation route (SC-40 + SD-50 + LP-120) is the standard combination; the local standard of record applies per country.

Typical projects

Resort villas, boutique hotels, townhouse developments

Consolidation ports

Market 04

Africa

Large-format fixed and folding glazing for bright, hot climates: solar-control glass schedules on the west elevations, post-free railings where the view is the product, and crating built for long hauls.

Configured SA projects are tested to SANS 10400-N, with the safety, energy, assembly, installation and balustrade-load lines named on the same schedule and the report issued per order and per model; other markets follow the local regulation of record. Solar-control and laminated low-E glass are standard on the west-elevation schedule.

Ports and transit, all four markets

Transit is ocean time from the South China loading port. It sits outside the production lead time and outside the inland leg, and neither is included in the figure on the quotation.

Asked before a market is chosen

Is a market page the same as a region page?

No. The market page is the programme for a country or trade bloc — the standards in play, the listing path, the ports and the lead times. A region page narrows to one jurisdiction inside that market, where a single code governs and the wind or impact basis is fixed. The US market page covers the country; the Florida page states what the Florida Building Code changes.

Do you hold listings or approvals in these markets?

No standing approval is claimed for any market. Configured units are tested or listed per project through a laboratory recognised in that market, and the report references the models on the order. The market page states which route applies and what documentation travels with the first container.

Can one order mix markets?

It can, and multi-site developers do it. The systems share the 70 and 75 mm platforms, so a Florida elevation and a Queensland elevation can sit on one drawing set with the configuration marked per position. What cannot be mixed is the test route: each market keeps its own report, so the schedule is split by destination even when the frames are the same.

Which ports do you ship from, and who arranges the ocean leg?

Orders leave Foshan and sail FOB from the South China ports, most often into the consolidation port named on the market page. The ocean leg and the inland delivery are arranged by the buyer or the forwarder; we issue the packing list per crate and the loading report per bay, so the receiver can check the container against the drawing set.
