Applications
Seven pages, two questions. Four read a building type as a schedule of openings; three take one system and argue it at the envelope a project actually has. Pick the group that matches the question you are already asking.
By building type
Each page lists the openings a building of that kind usually has, and the system that carries each one.
Villas & private residences
The villa brief is a plan question before it is a product question: which wall disappears, where the pool railing runs, which elevation carries the street noise. The schedule below is the one most villa projects converge on — resolved system by system against the plan, on one 70 / 75 mm platform.

- Farmhouse
- Residence
- 6 m
- single lift-slide opening
- 70 / 75 mm
- one shared platform
- 3 days

- 15 yr

Apartment & multi-residential
Multi-residential is a repetition problem: one module, detailed once, priced once, repeated cleanly floor after floor. Win the window schedule on the first module and the rest is arithmetic — balustrades, ventilation and the wind loads at height included.
- Apartment
- 1
- module, detailed once
- 6,000 mm
- lift-slide module
- AS 1288
- balustrade glazing
- 24 h

Commercial & mixed-use
Commercial envelopes are won on documentation as much as on profile: a façade schedule a contractor can price, wind-load calculations per elevation, and entrance hardware rated for the footfall. The systems below carry the commercial brief across offices, retail and institutional work.
- 4,000 × 3,000
- mm fixed pane envelope
- 400 kg
- pivot leaf rating
- DIN 18040
- barrier-free threshold option
- per project
- test references
Hospitality & resorts
A hotel envelope is operated every day: the terrace wall that opens at breakfast, the lounge that has to hold the street out, the pool deck that must shed monsoon rain. Hospitality schedules are written for the service pattern — high-cycle hardware, acoustic zoning by glazing, and maintenance parts listed in the quotation.

- Eco-Lodge

- operation cycles
- 45 dB
- acoustic zoning target
- 6 × 6 m
- pergola deck coverage

- spares in the quotation
By system variant
One system, one envelope, taken as far as the configuration allows — with the limits stated rather than implied.
Lift & slide doors for large openings
A large opening is a hardware and threshold decision long before it is a glass decision. The LS-60 carries 6,000 mm of clear opening on one track, moves a 300 kg leaf on roller bearings with one hand, and keeps the floor line flush — the three numbers that make a wall disappear rather than a door open.
LS-60 configuration notesImpact-rated windows for Florida and coastal markets
On the Florida coast the specification is written by the code and by the insurer: large-missile impact glazing, a hardware schedule that survives salt air, and a document pack that names the tested configuration. The IR-80 is the line card for that brief — laminated core, reinforced thermal-break frame, corrosion-resistant multi-point hardware.
IR-80 configuration notesLouvered pergolas for terraces and pool decks
A terrace that works in every hour of the day needs a roof that moves: sun when you want it, shade when the angle turns, closed when the rain arrives. The LP-120 runs motorized aluminium louvers in 5° steps, drains through an integrated gutter, and closes itself on the wind sensor.
LP-120 configuration notesThe other three axes
The same factory read four ways. Applications is the building and the opening; the other three start somewhere else.
Asked before an application is opened
Which list do I start from — the typology or the system?
Start from the typology when the building type is settled and the openings are not: the villa, apartment, commercial and hospitality pages list the openings a building of that kind usually has, with the system that carries each one. Start from the system variant when the opening itself is the problem — a six-metre lift-slide, a Florida impact elevation, a louvered terrace roof.
Do these pages replace the solution pages?
No, they run alongside them. A solution page starts from the challenge — hurricane, cyclone, salt, noise, thermal load — and works out which systems answer it. An application page starts from the building or from the opening. The same system appears in both, described from the other end.
Are the numbers on these pages specific to a project?
The envelope figures are the system envelope, not a guarantee for an arbitrary size. Panels wider than the tested span are resolved by engineering the frame and re-testing the configuration, and the report names the sizes on the order. Where a page quotes a maximum, that maximum is the tested maximum for that system.
What do I send to get a quotation for one of these?
A drawing, an opening schedule, or a one-line brief naming the building type and the location. The quotation returns within 24 hours with the lead time stated per system, and the shop drawings follow three working days after the architectural drawings are approved.
